How do I play?

Tap two matching tiles that are free to remove them. A tile is free when nothing lies on top of it and its left or right side is open. Any two Flowers match each other, and any two Seasons match each other. Clear every tile to finish the layout.

What if there are no moves left?

The game shuffles the remaining tiles for you. If tiles are stacked so that shuffling can’t help, it undoes a move so you can try another path. You can also use Hint, Undo and Shuffle at any time. Every deal is guaranteed to be solvable.

How are stars earned?

Clear a layout without any help for 3 stars, with up to three hints, undos or shuffles for 2 stars, otherwise 1 star. You can replay any unlocked level from the Levels screen.

What is the Daily Deal?

Each day everyone gets the same deal. Clear it on consecutive days to build your streak.

How is my progress saved?

Your progress, stars, and settings are stored locally on your device, and your game is saved after every move. Nothing is uploaded to our servers and no account is needed.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Jade Mahjong is fully playable offline. Game Center leaderboards and achievements sync when you are online.

How do I turn sound or music on or off?

Use the Sound and Music toggles in the main menu or in the pause panel during a game.

How do I reset my progress?

Deleting and reinstalling the app clears all locally stored progress and settings.
